  Q-plus Bridge qualified to the semifinals, as 4th, but with a positive Imp-Score against the first 3.
  In the semifinals against WBridge5 the match over 64 boards resulted in 155 - 155 Imps.
  Because of the carry-over (the result of the round robin over 32 boards : 77 - 86 Imps)
  WBridge5 passed to the finals where it won against the Chinese program Synrey 138 - 132 Imps.

  In summary, the status of Q-plus Bridge as belonging to the very top group is confirmed.

• 1999, Sep. : Match Zia Mahmod against computer programs. It has taken place at the Andrew Robson Bridge Club (31 Parsons Green Lane, London SW6 4HH).
  Results: After Zia, Q-plus has been second, with the same score as three other programs.

• 1998, Feb. : The French version of Q-plus Bridge becomes available, in addition to the English and German version.
• 1997, Oct. : Q-plus Bridge version 4.4.
• 1997, Aug. : Q-plus Bridge achieves the second place at the computer bridge championships in Albuquerque.
• 1996, Nov. : After a long development time (starting 1990!) Q-plus Bridge becomes first available as version 4.1.
